What this site collects
Short version: very little, and nothing is sold or shared.
The contact form
The form on the contact page doesn't send anything to a server. When you hit send, it opens your own email app with your name, email, and message filled in. Nothing leaves your device until you send that email yourself. Once it arrives, I use it only to reply to you.
Analytics and cookies
The site uses Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to count visits and see which pages get used. Tag Manager loads on every page, but analytics cookies are only set if you click “Accept” on the cookie banner.
Until you accept (or if you decline), Google Analytics runs in a restricted mode: no cookies, no identifiers stored on your device. Google can still receive basic, cookieless signals, like that a page was viewed, with the time and general browser details, which it uses for aggregate counts.
If you accept, Google Analytics sets its own cookies (named _ga and _ga_…) and sends Google things like the pages you view, roughly where you are, and what device and browser you're using. Google handles that under Google's privacy policy. It's used only to see how the site is doing. It isn't used for ads, and I don't combine it with anything else.
The site also uses Microsoft Clarity, loaded through Tag Manager, to see how pages are used: clicks, scrolling, and anonymized recordings of page visits, which help find layout problems. What you type into form fields is masked and never recorded. Clarity follows the same banner choice. Until you accept, it runs without cookies and treats every page view as a separate visit. If you accept, it sets its own cookies (_clck, _clsk) so visits can be linked across pages. Microsoft handles that data under the Microsoft Privacy Statement. It isn't used for ads.
Your choice is remembered in your browser's local storage (not a cookie), so the banner doesn't ask on every page. You can change it any time with cookie settings at the bottom of every page. Declining after accepting clears the analytics cookies from both.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes standard request data (like IP addresses) to serve and protect the site. That's covered by Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Fonts load from Google Fonts, so your browser also makes a request to Google's servers when a page loads. Google Fonts doesn't set cookies; see Google's Fonts privacy FAQ.
